We’re currently busy working on several photo classes and workshops for August, September and November. There’s a lot of details, planning and material to get ready so do be patient. Our classes and workshops will be held in conjunction with PJEFC’s photography club. The topics or areas we will be covering include kids and family portraiture, digital workflow, basic photography classes, flash and speedliting and landscape photography.

Creative Asia Conference 2011 is going to be the biggest Photography Conference in Malaysia till date. It brings together international talent and is going to be a worthwhile investment for many local photographers in Malaysia and the region.
Held in KL means much cheaper accommodation and travel costs for Malaysians especially if you compare to conferences and workshops in the US such as WPPI.
So why, wait? Sign up for the conference or a workshop or two today! We’re signed up!

I apologize for not updating this blog but there’s been a lot of things to do and finish lately. I’ve been working on a video project and it’s over two hours of full HD video from about four hours of footage. That’s just over fifty-gigabytes. Yup. Five-zero. Processing and working on them has been a little slow with all the bits but the results were worth it.
Jerry Ghionis’ recently had a one-day seminar in KL and it was definitely worth going! Besides his usual humorous and approachable self, Jerry also dispensed with a lot of advice — what you normally get in a five-day workshop was distilled into just about 9 hours. Of course the classroom was larger, packed with over a hundred eager photographers and you don’t get a hands-on session with models and all that. That said, it still packed a lot of information and Jerry doesn’t hold back one bit. You get the genuine teacher in Jerry and he’s passion about shooting is equaled only by his desire to teach others.
We simply had an awesome time and managed to network with many great photographers as well.
